Thanks to everyone for all the latest posts - and the videos/recordings! I'm SO glad it's not just me that is getting into this! I'll try and record some of mine soon. I've never heard the 'giggling' although I think I've heard variations on some of the other noises mentioned - so this is all really good fun and interesting.
Another sound I love which I'm not sure really qualifies as a separate sound but which is so sweet is when I'm sitting very still and quiet and one of my hamsters is on my shoulder facing towards my ear - as I can hear a lovely range of small snuffles and sometimes an odd squeak! It is so cute!

Hey my fatty made a noise quite like bailey's pacha just last night. I got the impression he was slightly annoyed at being scooped up when i wouldn't let him investigate the laundry pile!

He was very active that night, he really raced around the room for ages.

Other than than he makes very loud sniffing noises, and this lets me know he's found yet another hole somewhere. He is alway very enthusiastic about trying them out...........
